Sandy Cockrell began the NYC chapter of her theatrical life in 1997 - finding herself in spaces as varied as little black boxes in the Bowery to packed houses at Webster Hall, to 3000 seat venues - eventually founding her own theater company: J CITY Theater.  Where ever she found herself, she approached each role and opportunity with freshness and professionalism - relishing the opportunity to tell a story with simplicity and authenticity.



Prior to NY, Sandy performed in some of the top regional theaters in the country, including Tony Award winning theater Actors Theater of Louisville, Tony Award winning Cincinnati Playhouse and St Louis Repertory to name a few.
